Key switched 12V line in mirror/visor cluster

I'm looking for a 12V key switched source for ~3A in the cluster by the rear view mirror. I would like to hide the charger for my phone and gps up there.

not sure about the mirror, but you can find it in the pkp or driver underdash

I just got a dash cam and I have it mounted right by the rear view mirror. I was hoping to get power from there. What are those wires there for?

I ended up running a positive wire from the glove box and grounding to a bolt for the sun roof. All in took 45 mind to install the new outlet in the head liner.

There aren't any 12v key switched sources, this is a 13.8v system not 12v remember? So you may want to look for a switched 13.8v key switched source instead.

You seek out a thread from a year and a half ago just to take this shit storm with you here. You sir are a **** for doing just that and that is what @t_j is referring to as it is obvious you had no other purpose.

It doesn't matter who is right or wrong. I for one was actually interested in the group buy you were doing with a new sponsor but this whole cat fight has overall soured my thoughts. I would say that Tom might of been a little out of line but you took it to a whole other level. I hope @jokerz sees that you are actually hurting his sales. I decided not to participate in the group buy because of you and solely you.

It's not seeking out a big shit storm, it was about 3 seconds using the search function to return some ball busting when Edison here tried to say our trucks aren't 12v in a feeble defense for ******** in my thread, so pull those wadded ******* out of that crack before you pass out lol. .
