Hell you try holding back 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks... I don't let go cause I did ONCE. I had to rent a freaking boat to go get them cause they just kept swimming out to get people on paddle boards and ducks.... we no longer take the dogs near water.

I visited cape lookout in NC once. You have to get a boat ride from the ‘mainland’ out to the island, it’s about a 10 minute-ish ride. On the way back in, about a quarter mile from shore, we rescued a lab who was paddling his way out to sea.
