Why a divide between EV and ICE? They serve 2 separate purposes, if I was a daily commuter I would have an EV, but I am not so I drive an amazing Raptor. It is good for us all to have choices and know that what is good for you may not be the best choice for someone else. There is plenty of room for both.

Choice is great, mandates that CA not allowing the sale of ICE from 2035 onward is not. Because of this when someone buys a battery car, whether they realize it or not they’re contributing to that agenda.

Took delivery of a 23 Superduty in Azure...it really is a neat color with multiple personalities. Like most tricoats, images do not do it justice, you have to view in person from different angles and lighting conditions to appreciate its beauty.

I agree with most of what you state here and yes certain forces do have an agenda. Where I do start to have a different view is when people purchase they are contributing. I am also not a fan of the laws going into effect and hopefully they will be forced to roll them back as the infrastructure is not in place to support these mandates. You cannot force people to buy EV’s and then tell them not to charge them. But we must support each other and know that truly the left or the right are not on our side.

Auto enthusiast as well and enjoy all technology when it comes to cars in general. I agree a lot of people in forum comment on EV's and are very anti EV's without ever having the experience of being in or living with one. As a car enthusiast, the experience of an EV is a different one than an ICE. Better in some ways and worst in other ways, just like everything in this world it's a compromise. Yes, it doesn't sound like a V8 and that sucks, but they do accelerate faster than any ICE comparable car out there, that doesn't suck.

I do agree with choice and right now we have it. You can go ICE, you can go EV or both. I'm not one to speculate on what will happen in the future so I'm not going to be the guy yelling at the tv or computer based on speculations. I'll enjoy the choice we have now and do my part to make sure that stays that way.

People with mandates and agendas can suck one!

Lithium mining is pretty deplorable IMO. That said, I wouldn't mind a Tesla Plaid, though.
