Does MPT tune needs accessport? What is difference between MPT tune and Goosetune?

MPT and Goosetune are competing companies that provide tunes for the Raptor. I have been very happy with MPT and chose them based on very favorable feedback on this forum. With either tune, you will need to buy a device to upload the tune to your truck. In my situation, I bought an Ngauge tuner which has done a very nice job.

Yes thank you for advice, I decided to go with MPT because of the Trans runing. So for MPT tuning if I use either accessport or ngauge, they both offer the ability to upload whole MPT along with transmission tuning?

You will need to check with them to see what differences exist between the two devices (ngauge or accessport), but I am fairly confident that neither device affects/limits the MPT tunes that can be uploaded.
