I have a 2019 crew with:

Fox factory live valve front and rear
SVC bumps with fox 2.0s
SVC upper control arms
KHC slot delete stage 1
Deaver +3s.

In my view the principal benefits of the fox 3.0s are ride height at the front, cooling for longer and aggressive offroad driving, and the ability to switch between 3 settings for damping (beyond the live valve itself). I run mine at 3/4" of lift in the front, after trying 1.5" of lift and really not liking the fact the front suspension had too little droop travel. Also, you really should recalibrate the ride height sensors, especially at higher levels of lift, as the live valve gets stiff otherwise. Ride height cannot easily be adjusted on the truck - so make decisions on this first if you can. I received a lot of bad advice on ride height from various shops and online. Stock, the truck has about 7-7.5" of up travel and 5.5-6" of down travel. If you take 2 inches of down travel away and give it to up travel (e.g. by cranking up preload), your balance is off between compression and extension, with it being as much as 9.5 of the former, and just 3.5 of droop. As soon as you travel offroad like this, the droop is constantly finding bottom, and its quite harsh.

Cooling is a big, big improvement with these compared to stock. My stock fox live valves would get cooking hot, whereas these new ones stay much much cooler.

SVC upper control arms have a 3/4 bolt through the upright. This means you have to drill through the upright, as the stock hole is nowhere near the right size. That's a one way trip, as you can't go back to stock without new uprights, which aren't cheap.

Deavers and bump stops work really really well. Way smoother and more progressive offroad than the stock set up, and very good insurance against major damage.

I see the use case for this package as someone who is going to drive off-road fast, but not so fast as to need/want a mid travel setup. Perhaps this is obvious, but given the cost, ask yourself if you fit in this category and then make the call.

I'm assuming the answer is yes and if so how much?

Wish I understood suspension upgrades better as I'd love to go with Eibachs up front and Deavers +3 either standard or perhaps HD.

Usually I'll only be doing easy 4x4 wheeling and have no real need for high end bump stops.

Any time you raise the suspension without changing to a shock with a longer stroke, you loose droop. Basically you are pre-drooping the suspension whether it's raising the front or the back. Think of it as if you had your truck on a frame lift. As you raise the truck frame, the suspension extends and most times in the front, it is the limit of the shock length that creates the point in which the front wheel leaves the ground. By going with Eibachs you are removing 1.5-2" of the amount the suspension can extend before the wheel leaves the ground. This is known as droop or down travel.

Do the 2020 Factory Race Series 3.0 Live Valve shock have longer travel than the stock shocks? Or would raising them via the coil overs be adding the same preload and reducing the droop similar to adding Eibachs?

Hey all.

heading down to SVC shortly to have Deaver springs and bump stops installed.

Their stage 1 kit basically for my 2020 SCREW.

I’ve had this raptor for about a month now and love it but want to remedy the rear wheel stability.

since I’m going to be at SVC part of me wants to just go as far as I can and for their performance pack as well


Along with the deavers and bump stops this will give me ...

1.5” billet upper control arms.

Aluminum steering tie rods

And fox front and rear 2020 factory series 3.0 live valve shocks.

too much too fast ? should I enjoy the oem fox shocks some more ? Truck has 13k miles.

how’s in road performance going to be vs stock since this is also my daily driver.

want to get the suspension set up before heading out to Utah for a week and thought “ why not just go all the way?”

How much off-road experience do you have? Have you even taken your Raptor off-road? My advice would be to find the limits of your truck and the limits of your driving skills before you spend $11k on something that you may or may not use—especially if you’ve never even been off-road with your truck yet. You would be surprised at how capable these trucks are in stock form (outside of the garbage leaf springs).

The SVC components will not fail, but say if your front diff stops working and needs to be replaced, Ford could tell you that’s not covered under warranty given your shocks, UCA, and tie rods have been changed. So are you willing to pay for that out of pocket? These are things to think about when doing mods. If your truck is going to stay on-road majority of its life and not be pushed hard off-road, then it’s mostly just for bling.

For a disclaimer, I’ve had the Factory Series 3.0 Live Valves sitting in my garage for months because I haven’t needed them. May just end up selling them.

I like RPG as well but a bigger fan of the traction bars with SVC. Want to keep it all to one shop / outfitter as well and RPG didn’t have any deavers in stock...

I have a 2018 SCREW and started with my mods about six months ago and have had problems due to COVID shortages. I’ve done a lot but suspension wise I did Geisers up front and +3 Deavers in the rear and love how it drives my 2 cents is while it’s there do it and enjoy the hell out of it you won’t be disappointed with the setup your looking at.
You have any photos of your set up. Thinking of the same.
