:deal: Still taking notes. Let’s see wires run down inside the frame rail. Stock up on Bourbon. Position lighting carefully out back.

Is there anyway to get a really stealthy way to mount the lights and still be able to allow them to throw out back effectively? Close to the tow hooks have been the closest I have seen so far.

For the guys who ran outside the frame, I wouldn't sweat it. I'd just be really **** about the rub points on zip ties or the ties themselves. Those things don't last forever, especially in colder climates, and rub points will find a way to wear more than you can imagine with any amount of offroading. But I haven't had a raptor before and they don't vibrate/jar you like normal trucks. Having access to the wires in the future isn't the worst thing in the world either.

If I run mine through the frame, I'll go a little nuts on protecting the wear points.

OK... Inside the frame it will be. Just got in a roll of 16/2 double insulated wire (2 conducts with an outer sheath. I'll be trying to fish it thru the frame this coming weekend assuming its not too cold. I'll post pics of the install.

My own preference but I think the backup lights look better mounted up inbetween the recovery hooks and the exaust tips. There are already some mounting holes up there so no drilling.
Where you have them they can easily be snagged and/or broken.
My opinion....no offense please.
Thought about that but I wanted to keep them where I could have the light available to show the rear tires if I needed them so the pare I chose seemed to be the sweet spot for now anyway.

I'll follow your post with the install pics. Looking to do the same...
