So excited! I can’t believe the day has come! I’ve worked very hard for many years and was blessed enough to purchase and drive home my new Raptor last night!
Congratulations! I got mine last week. Only mods have been a stubby antennae (Clears the garage door), and weathertech mud flaps[/QUOTE]
Love the color! Lol

Check some local auto part stores like Napa, they probably have it in stock. I found the spray difficult as it came out in more of a stream then a spray. I just did what I could by laying beside the truck and sticking my arm under to spray. I think it was about 6-8 bucks a can and you should probably do it yearly. If you pressure wash under it probably washes it away.

Thanks guys! Trying to stay away from mods for a little while... I hope!

First off.., congratulations! Secondly, there is no hope. I said the same thing and have already spent thousands. Have a blast with it, man! Nice looking truck!

Thanks so much for the info! Where can u find the Amsoil? What does it $$ per can? Thanks!

I purchased it through amsoil direct I enrolled in their preferred customer or distributor program whatever they call it for a year & get discounts on stuff. I really like their products & their always inproving/refining them & coming out w/ new stuff. I started using their fluids in my Z06 that I do as much maintenance on my own a size possible. I really think they make the best automotive fluids in general.

The stuff is expensive I think $13-15 a can maybe but like I said I was SUPER impressed w/ the results. I coated a piece of scrap sheet metal before treating the truck w/ it to see what it was like (didn’t want the tacky sticky fluid film mess) - and its amazing. It’s “dry” to the touch after a few hrs but the next day like I said it hasn’t the texture almost of slightly soft beeswax. Tossed some dirt all over the piece & it just rinses right off w/ water hose- not only hydrophobic it repels dirt/dust as well.

As another poster mentioned It is runny when you first to apply, but I found its best to start application w/ a very fine mist using very little pressure on the trigger but after 10 mins of letting it dry/soak in going back to the area w/ a heavier spray seemed to adhere better. I absolutely lathered up on the holes inside the frame though.

I’ve owned quite a few new cars, & from this point on the FIRST thing ill be doing from now on isn’t getting any need vehicle coated w/ this before I do anything else.

Griots undercarriage dressing is good for making things look fresh & clean & provides a little protection, but the HDMP is a while other level.

Congratulations on the new ride. I've been obsessed with MODs before I even took delivery of my truck. Enjoy and have fun!
