Man, you could buy a truckload of JBWeld and trowel it on that oil pan until it disappears for less trouble. Just thinking outside the box.
if i recall correctly, i believe all that stuff he lists for the prep of the pan before the sealant is why the plastic ones leak so much in if done wrong itll leak when people get the replacements. I think FTO mentioned its more so improper install than the plastic-aluminum messing up.

I didnt like my plastic pan at all but it didnt leak in 80k miles, but that said im much happier my '20 has the all aluminum pan.

The 594’s are the updated 542’s. The M-12405-35T’s are good plugs also. Those are the colder plugs that Ford sells. You should be good no matter which ones you use.
Pretty sure that is incorrect. The M-12405-35T is the new 542 (both a step colder than OEM). The 594 is the new OEM plug.

Shoot, well I went with the SP594 rather than waiting for the M-12405-35T coming in. Wonder if it will make much of a difference?

If you are tuned I would recommend the colder plugs - but, plugs are super easy to change on this truck, takes 20 mins if you're drunk.
