I didn't do lights - but I put 16oz copper behind my SVT logo.

LMAO Bird - I'm in the business so I had copper samples dropped off at the shop here free of charge. And copper is only going for $180 per 3'x8' sheet now anyways... I needed a 1" by 4" strip to do each side.

I'm thinking about stuff for the front and rear with copper, and would appreciate any suggestions.

Is yours really that red? or is it the flash?

Mine is Orange like the truck yet it's no where near as bright as the picture makes it appear to be...



Oh, have I mentioned: I LOVE THIS ******* TRUCK!!! I HAVE NEVER ENJOYED A VEHICLE AS MUCH IN MY LIFE AS THIS TRUCK!!! (AND FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO KNOW I HAVE OWNED A TOTAL OF 17 DIFFERENT VEHICLES IN MY TIME HERE ON EARTH!!!)

It's pretty much that red. It was taken at the beginning of dusk so there was still a lot of light (relatively speaking) and the flash is non-existent (iphone ****** no flash pos).

Here's another of a close up at the same time. I also wrapped the visible ends in brake light repair tape and then covered the rest in black gaffers tape.

No fading yet. Not sure how long it takes to fade without the brake light tape over it though.
