My bad, read some where in the early info that the normal F150 SCAB had a 23 gal but the Raptor would have 26. All the official literature says 23 gal which makes a lot more sense with my fill ups and low fuel light. Ran it a lot closer to empty today than I thought. Put 21.5 gal in!

My sticker says 26 gallons and I have put in over 23 before...........

I think both of you might be right. I just looked up two different 2017 supercab stickers and they both say 26.0 gallon fuel tank.

All of the previous literature stated for 2017 only two tank options were 23 gal and 36 gal, specifically 87.1L and 136.2L. Ford.com changed up their website a bit but I can still only find those two tanks, the 23 and 36. But I doubt they would have a misprint on their window sticker.

Only 3 gals but interesting nonetheless.

Now I am fully confused. My window sticker says 26 gal but all the specs on Ford's website say 23 regardless of Raptor or regular say 23 gal. I will look for something on the tank itself when I get a chance. I sure would like the extra 3 gal.

I think SCABs have 26 gal tanks. I have filled mine up to 22gal with ~50 miles to empty. Avg MPG was ~14 so 50 miles divided by 14 mpg = ~3.5 gal remaining.
So with a little error, that puts it right at 26 gal. Assuming the ECU-reported fueling values are accurate...

And once you get to zero MTE, fuel reserve is also well over a gallon.

I've come to hate Jerry Cans. They always leak, get rusty, etc etc. I know they're expensive, but I've started using Rotopax instead. They give you some pretty interesting mounting options and are expandable/modular.

Yup, that is why I use military Scepter cans. You can drive over them without any damage. Getting harder to find because of the EPA "spill proof" cans that leak more than they fill.
