This week we installed our JDM 700 HP Power Package on our customer Vince's 2014 Raptor. Vince had his truck delivered by flat bed with 109 miles on the odometer, I think we only had one other truck with less mileage before a blower. We got a 2013 brand new with about 80 miles on it to do a similar upgrade before shipping it to England last year. This beautiful black beast was begging for some JDM love, so we stripped her down and began to message our way through the supercharger install! As we do about 1 of these a week in house it only took about 2 days to install the supercharger. Whipple threw us a little curve ball as they have changed the location of the intercooler tank and fill neck! This allows for more room running aftermarket lights, grilles, and bumpers. It puts the coolant reservoir below the engine bay located just above brush guard. Definitely creates some more space but when filling the system with coolant it has to burp a few times in order to get to the right level. So TRIPLE check the supercharger coolant level when doing an install. You can see the new filling location and tank in the pictures posted below.

The JDM Whipple 700 HP kit is an improvement over our very popular JDM 650 HP Whipple kit. The only difference is we include the larger Ford Racing Twin 65mm throttle body and Heavy Duty Whipple heat exchanger with dual fans. These components help achieve the extra estimated 50 HP difference in the kit. It comes complete with a Custom JDM Engineering tune, NGK 6510 Spark plugs (set of 16), Ford Racing 47LB fuel injectors, and a 3.250" diameter blower pulley for approximately 9-10 psi boost. For more details or questions about this kit please contact us at 732-780-0770 or PM me here!

We also installed an Axle Exchange 1 piece driveshaft to handle the extra torque load and 700 HP! This piece is made with thick wall tubing and has heavy duty Spicer ends! Excellent idea if your Raptor is supercharged. A Borla Catback was fitted to the truck only the customer requested Ford Racing tips. So we are fitting them to the Borla catback at this moment. Autometer/Ford Racing Boost, Voltage, and D-pic Gauges with triple A-pillar mount. The final upgrade to the truck was an automatic transmission dip stick that we installed into the factory pan. The customer supplied us with an aftermarket deep sump pan but it does not properly fit a 2013-2014 Raptor. The 2013-2014 takes a different filter which has a shorter neck. When installed with the deeper aftermarket pan it creates too much pan to pick up clearance. We were told by the manufacturer that it would be "fine" and to run the transmission over filled so the pick up doesn't suck air. That's not the way we do things here so we left the pan stock.

Should be hitting the dyno with this bad boy tomorrow and though it should make around 550-570 HP at the tires we are going to back him down to 550 RWHP max as that is what we have deemed safe on the factory engine and driveline. Plus any more power than that he is going to need a big Ricer wing on the tailgate to keep him on the ground!:ROFLJest:

Hope some of this info helps anyone looking to install a Supercharger on their Raptor!

Thanks,

Just re read the article as I only breezed through it earlier, that still amazes me how much the stock drivetrain can handle

I'm loving this FRPP Pillar!!!
Is it a direct replacement from the original?

Question, what is that hose running over the top of the compressor?
