Cant wait to hook up to a gen11 and pull him around wall mart parking lot

Doing a good ol' redneck tug-o-war doesnt prove anything other than which vehicle has more traction. There are plenty of examples of soccer mom SUVs pulling big ass modded diesels around parking lots.

For example:

More power AND torque in a package that's lighter by 500 lbs. Power:weight is much better.

You sound so ignorant of all of the variables, as if it is an open and shut case of power to weight lol. Randy how many sandrails, trophy trucks, buggies, etc do you see running ecoboosts? They must be the best option lol

Power:weight is what all these guys are shooting for at the end of the day. The Ecoboost of course wouldn't be the best application for absolutely everything. I mean it's good given how much power it has over the 6.2 but its not so good that it would make everything else irrelevant.

Negative, power to weight ratio is what spec sheet warriors use to determine a winner, even in very controlled environments like paved race tracks it still doesn't end up being the deciding factor, you get balance, endurance, and driving characteristics that tell the real story, now enter the desert and welcome to a whole new world.

Well I think I'll trust the guys who get paid to design and engineer the all new Gen II Raptor. I'm sure they used the old one to learn lessons on how to improve the new one. That's primarily how they make the new ones better.

And that's why you're a koolaid drinker, you trust the guys that are paid to sell you on the latest and greatest instead of waiting to see what it's actually about.

They're not paid to sell the latest and greatest. They're paid to design and engineer them. Given what they've said about the all new Gen II Raptor, how it'll blow away the new one, its 500 lbs lighter, more lower end torque etc imo it would be a bit foolish to discount it out of hand. I think the Gen II looks better and has a better interior as well. It's all upside imo. But just because I like the new one doesn't mean that I would insult you for liking your old Gen I. After all the lessons they learned in designing the new one stems from that old truck.

The only thing that you've done to show superiority is quote tag lines from the creators. Nough said.
