I just went out and looked and as it is designed it probably would not work in the front. There will be interference with the bump out for the stake pocket and it would be difficult to get it bolted down flat once you have bolts for the quick fist mounts in place. It would be a nice place to have it but I think it would require a new piece to be made.

Thanks for checking, this is a great design. I would love to get one, I just need one that will mount in the front.
