Loving it. Spent nearly all day today rearranging the garage in order to fit her in.
And she's in!
So last night we are finally able to go out as a family.
I get all the car seats in and we head off.
We get to the parking lot of the restaurant we're going to and I hear Abby, the six year old, scream...
"Jacky's getting sick!!!"
I turn around, and sure enough. Jack, our 3 year old, is throwing up all over himself.
ARE YOU ******* KIDDING ME? First ride in the new truck and he's puking!
Thankfully I had put a blanket down on the seats.
Unbelievably, between the blanket and his car seat, 99.9% of it was contained. There were only a couple of drops that got on the rubber floor mat and the plastic door panel.
She still had that new car smell this am.
The car seat was another story altogether. But with 3 kids, cleaning out car seats is old hat.
Jack still loves our "monster truck" and was back to himself today.
We'll never forget the first family outing in the Raptor. That's for sure!
MiloX,
I feel for ya!
My wife gets car sick but can control it! My 5 y/o daughter gets car sick and CAN'T control it to long.
Luckily she hasn't gotten sick in my rig yet. When we go on long trips, we take the wife's Durango just for that reason.
Good luck with everything and ENJOY THE RIDE!!!
Milo, funny story. I have a 3 year old too who keeps asking when my monster truck is coming. Your truck looks identical to what I ordered too. Lucky Monday is build day so the wait is almost over. Congrats on the truck and the great family.
