Look, I wish you all the best and hope that your dealer is shooting you straight. But I happen to know for a fact that Ford does not generate VINs 3 months in advance of builds. It's more like 3-4 weeks in advance. If I were you, I would call SVT customer service and verify that (1) the VIN you were given is legit; and if it is (2) the truck has the options you specified.

I would love to drive a Shelby GT 500, unfortunately I am way too tall (7 feet). They have been very generous so far on the "loaner" I drive. My dealership is Sandy Springs. I wasn't trying to be secretive about it. I feel pretty god about my deal. Hopefully all goes well.

Randy posted up he got 2 vin's for 2012's for 2 of his stock orders. Maybe he'll post up if his are still on schedule or if they were delayed till January. They should be in the same boat as K9's since his is a stock order too.

Man. Glad I didn't plan to order until Jan or Feb. Too much drama. I remember the same thing happened with the 2011 Super Duties back in 2010 or late 09. Delay after delay with Job 1 and the pre-orders.
