The rear husky mat looks good.

Theses both seem like good front mats.
A few things about the husky that I noticed. It doesn't cover the sides as well as the WT. But it looks to fit better. I also like the heel resting area of the husky.

How think are the husky liners? The WT are fairly thin.

And add suspected, salty water dining into the crevices of the floor. Mine did the same thing at snoball

i like the fact the Husky's have a raised ridge to keep water on the mat and not let it leak down into the door sill plate. plus the keeper tabs also have a raised pocket to keep water from leaking under the mat.

You Bastards! I have the weathertechs and now I like the Huskys better. Why do I read these threads? :)

I agree completely. And I only bought the stupid weathertechs a month and a half ago. :favorites68:

My WT are old, well used and made for a model truck older than what I have now... This may have just sold me on Husky's. Damn you all for spending my money when I was planning to get buy with what I have! Btw, the "heels" comment from Bussy also makes me want to try husky because the back of my heels (back of heel post) so if the husky are easier on those that'll be a win for me!

The problem with the one pictured is the water is guided down to a point then left just inside the truck to run in to the plastic sill protector and runs in to the rocker panel area. I know at least two forum members already having issues with rusting out rocker panels. My opinion it is a design flaw to not bring the water all the way out to run outside the truck...

Why would it cause rust? Any metal it contacts from escaping the cab should be coated. Otherwise it's no different from road spray.

I have the Aries brand that I had in my 2009 FX4 SCREW that I put into my Raptor they are still holding up. I do not remember what I bought for the rear but it might be the WT.

The main difference is that road spray hits the under body of the truck and dries relatively quickly. When that water leaks under your door sill, it doesn't dry fast. It just sits there and leaks down into the pinch weld between the floor and rocker to be trapped and eventually rot them out. It's probably not that big of an issue if the water is just rain/ground water and contains no salt. My problem is that most of the water that's going to get into my floor mats is going to be from snow/water on my shoes in the winter climates and that means a lot of salt.
