Welcome to the place. This is a different motor on this thread. It's the 3.5 ecoboost.

I understand this is the 3.5 Ecoboost. I’m just saying my Gen 1 ticks and sounds the same as the video..

Yeah, you might have a broken spring or rocker, you should pull the valve cover if you think its coming from the top of the engine. Maybe post a video

@Szabo Mihaly , to me, this sounds like oil starvation and a sticking lifter. Did your buddy recently do an oil change and somehow drop the protective cover on the oil bottles into the crankcase? Maybe it is temporarily blocking the oil pump intake, then fell off after being turned off?

Was no oil change. He changed the oil only after the noise start. And that noise was on all the day. Untill next day. We got -14 Celsius over night and in the morning all was ok.
