The Gen3 Raptor will take a step sideways and include a V8 option.

I have a source who confirms the 5.4L Triton V8 will be an upgrade engine option ($3,000 uplift) in the next platform. This V8 will put out 260HP and 350 #/Ft of torque and sound like a scalded dog in a brothel, with the optional dual exhaust.

Are you sure it's not the 4.6L SOHC?

Ford just filed for this Patent V8 with electric front wheel drive . This is the future at least it will sound good.

Latest Gen3 Raptor and I might say going by the wheels Ford is not going to do much of a change from the current Raptor.

If they get a different engine, it would probably be the 2.7 with electric assist. The V8 is getting closer to extinction every year.

Today I spoke to a dear friend who has some contacts at Ford, 2021 twin turbo V8 will be coming.

My wife thinks I only have 3 guns
