GEN 2 Is the only aftermarket head unit option the Phoenix Tablet?

OK, fine. That doesn't answer my question...would a newer Apple device, iPhone or iPod Touch or whatever, cure this problem if used through Carplay? That's what I'd want to know.

I would imagine the issue is fixed with CarPlay considering there is a dedicated Apple Music application within car play.

I’m not sure of the “issue” y’all are referring to, but I use my iPhone with car play and it works great. Not a ton of music on it though so if the “issue “ is something to do with large storage device I can’t say. I also use a 32 gig thumb drive and it works great too. Haven’t tried my 128 gig thumb drive yet. Seems like I do remember seeing something about an indexing issue with large storage devices though so maybe that’s it?
