Is it too late to order a Raptor?

I have not called any dealers yet but was wondering what the consensus is on finding a dealer that can still order a Raptor? I'm ok if the truck arrives in the Spring or early Summer.

There's a lot of misinformation out there talking about allocation. If a dealer sells their allocation does that mean they cannot order another Raptor? When are new allocations issued?

Yeah, I think they are all gone. Maybe 2018?

I would wait for 2018 and get the v8 option, it's only available with proof of your man card!

Not too late. Many dealers still have allocations and most likely once Ford gives O.K. to buy then the allocation thing will go bye bye. My dealer told me to wait til they have a few in this month so I could see the colors in person. Said there'd be no problem ordering then.

The dealers were given an allocation number at the beginning of the year and we've been told the entire time that's all we'll get for the 17' model year. I've asked our Ford rep each time I see her and she still tells me the same thing.

Speaking about Raptor allocation with other dealers I know the only one's that have allocation left are the one's asking well over sticker. The only other dealer I know that sold his at sticker were all spoken for also.

We sold all of ours at both stores for sticker.

There have been people posting here recently that have just ordered and were able to get them for sticker.

We've got 2 people on our list that are waiting for 18's.

yeah i'm sure there are plenty available at rip-off prices. i've pretty much given up trying to find an allocation for sticker because texas ford stealerships all suck and i'm just gonna wait to see a few on the lots and watch them sit for awhile and then attempt to re-negotiate.

i'm banking on the fact that, like almost every other ford product, they won't be nearly as "hot" as ford dealers want you to believe and by the time they sit for awhile the prices will come down or they will learn from this year and sell them at normal prices next year.

so far i have found both a Z06 and a GT-R for sale at sticker, which means that buying a raptor for over sticker is simply idiocy. basically, i blame ford. i guess GM and Nissan actually want to move their vehicles.
