Is Full PPF Worth it?

To each his own! I take my CO to Moab and when another ORV passes, they kick up debris, plus I hate swirl marks. The truck cost me $90k and 6% to HELP protect it is worth it.

It's a personal thing. To some it's worth it, to others it is not. I personally get most of my cars full ppf because I'm OCD and don't like to see any paint chips. I also like the Satin look and always do stealth on most of my cars.

How?! They are both depreciating assets and daily use tools. If you spend 1%-2% of the value of an iPhone to protect it, why is it insane to do the same thing for a Raptor? @Littlefx4

That's the difference. Percentage isn't as relevant as total cash outlay. I think people also intuitively understand that anybody can accidentally drop their phone but if you are accidentally off-roading than PPF is the least of your concerns.

I’m taking my brand new 22’ 35 raptor in for a full PPF stealth wrap, ceramic coating, 20/70 all the way around tinted windows today (not windshield). It’s agate black and my OCB hates swirls but I also own and operate a hunting guide service. I run a lot of backroads in western Nebraska, Colorado and many other parts of the country…so it’s worth it to me.

we have a lot of left-over rocks on the highways here in Colorado from big snows and I’m constantly taking pings from flying rocks and pebbles from other vehicles.

just sold my 2015 Tundra on the private market and am convinced that had I done more to protect it, I could’ve sold it for a higher value. I did the pin-striping on my own as a hunting guide and adventurer, but I can’t even count the number of pings and dings that I have on both front and back doors, especially the drivers side and the back driver side quarter panel and fender flare looked like someone shot it 30 times with a BB gun.

also, I love the stealth look simply for differentiation reasons on the highway or in my city, so I’m in it for both reasons: aesthetics and protection

I wasn't a fan of the stealth film on the bumper and the fender flares. You had to do everything, or do nothing, and that was quite the cost incurred. My 2014 Raptor had maybe 2-3 chips on the fender flares after 80k miles, so I'm not too worried. Plus, these flares are smaller (and sadly not as nice looking as my gen 1), so I think the surface area to get hit is smaller. Those dang headlights though...

My headlights, mirrors, painted front clip (around the headlights), and the entire hood (except where the stickers are located) are covered. Then had the windows tinted and the entire truck ceramic'd.

I truck hard, so PPF is not worth IMO. I spend money in mods to make me truck harder and keep the daily driving features in tact and in working order.

You are not driving a sports car.

You can get the windshield done in clear, and I highly recommend it. Helps block the UV rays on you and your interior and also keeps the inside much cooler since it reflects the sun if it's a high-end ceramic tint.

If you have the money then do it. Depending on where you live, a quality re-spray is going to cost you more if you get riddled with rock chips.
Chances are, you're not going to keep this rig forever and you may get your money's worth (in the form of Profit) when you go to sell it in the future.
I bought a used vehicle that had a full PPF... It was all yellow and peeling in some corners, but underneath the PPF... SHE WAS MINT. I didn't mind paying the extra cash. Showed the previous owner took some extra care. But everyone is different. Do what your wallet can handle.

I actually decided to get it done in 55/70 with a slight tint and 70% HR…it’s in the shop now. Thank you though.
