Seems crazy to me on the typical Raptor pavement princess. You'll never get the cost of the PPF back at selling time due to having (possibly) better paint.

The only time PPF sorta makes sense is if you plan on keeping the car for 20 years and it’ll have strong resale value if its in perfect condition. It seems like most PPF people have had multiple raptors or will likely trade for a gen 4. I don’t understand the purpose if you trade your truck in every year or two. Too be fair a lot of mods make zero sense if you actually look at it objectively/logically.

I just do the front and mirrors. They use pea gravel on the roads in the winter here. Very worth it even trading every couple years.

Yeah… I think the diminished returns get pretty rough when you’re talking “full PPF”. Nearly all of my cars have ended up having some kinda PPF on them thanks to dealer add ons.

I've always done the front clip for the rock chips. My new truck I did the whole thing in gloss PPF with a coating. I was really skeptical about doing it. But after washing it for the first time it was great. Especially with black.

I’m very OCD about the paint on my vehicles and since I like to use them as intended, I want to minimize the scratches from tree limbs, etc. It also helps put my mind at ease when I was it after an event, knowing any chances of damaging the paint is minimized. I’m f’d in the head enough that if any vehicle needs paint work and it doesn’t match 100%, I’ll just sell it.

Would you be able to post or send pics? I have a 2020 raptor in lead foot grey and I'm about to do a full Stek dynomatte ppf. Pretty much the same as stealth
Did you ever do it? I have an appointment to get my 2020 leadfoot grey a full stek dynomatte next week.... how do you like it?

Lots of negative comments in here. IMO - if you can afford the PPF, it will always be worth it to protect the car and paint. I did my front end and door pillars. Definitely think that was worth it and if i was in the spot to spend the extra $5-6K to get the rest of the car done, i think i would've. I took it to the place out here straight from dealership so that helped with labor for what's required in the ppf process.
