Is 37 PP worth it?

801a package was just right for me. Seats in my opinion were great and i sold my 35 k02s to a friend for $900 bucks which i used to get some 37 k02s. Installed eibach lift springs.
Spent about $1500 just to get the 37pp stance.

I didnt really care for modular bumper and speaking with people that have owned both 35 and 37 pp the shocks weren’t worth the extra cost.

Personal opinion of course, the 37pp look amazing as is.

I had a 2021 code orange… just traded it for a fully loaded Yukon McKinley…. That was a big mistake. Of course two different vehicles however I would assume that Yukon would be better on the highway…I was wrong!!!

I've owned three 35's and wanted to try something different. The stance on a 37 Raptor is what sold me. The Recaro seats are to stiff for me, but look great. As others have mentioned I hated the wheels on a 801...they look Tremoris...lol

I almost bought 802 because that was all they had on the lots close by. Drove an hour away to a dealership that had some 801 in the color I wanted. I wasn't that impressed with the 802 seats. So it was an easy decision. Besides they wanted MSRP for the 802 and I got the 801 a couple grand off MSRP.

I am trying to still decide where I’m gonna do. The dealership is giving me 4K sticker, which brings it down to I believe 89K. They do have. An 801a the light in the same color one K below sticker. So basically I’m looking at a 7K difference…..

Mine is going to be used for backwoods camping. So I'll be installing a topper. If you think you'll jump in yours I would go the 802 route. In fact, 7k difference would be very tempting to go for the 802 anyways.

Purchased a 35 truck for MSRP in 2023 when the 37 package was like +$8k; sold 35 wheels+tires for $1,500, purchased 37 wheels+tires for $2,900. It was a no brainer for me. The truck definitely felt just slightly more "zippy" with the 35's, but the look and utility of the 37's is well worth the trade off.

I did a similar thing... traded my '21 37 for a '22 Sierra Denali 1500 diesel. Ride was worse. Not a bad truck... MPG was amazing. Was getting 28-32 HWY.

As far as the OP's original question. It depends... are more supportive seats and a better suspension worth it to you?
Funny, as I didn't even consider the suspension at first. I came from a '23 35. I wanted the seats and the HUD... missed my '21 recaros...
The dual live valve is a game changer IMO.... so much better slow speed damping, plus the high speed damping is greatly improved. Not nearly as harsh. Sport suspension is amazing for faster driving on the hwy, and baja is like riding on a cloud. It is very noticeable... as least to me.
