Yes I know worth depends on the person. I am thinking of going back to a Raptor and looking at a 802a. Is the extra $$$ worth it? Does it hold value better?

The extra money is for the shocks, tires and seats.

That's really a you question if you think you need it or want to spend the extra cash for dealer installed factory option that can be had for 1/2 or a 1/3 of that cost in the after market.

Assuming you need the extra height the 37's give you or the extra damping the shocks give you.

I hear the seats are nice but that's a subjective feeling as well. I hated them but love the 35 seats.

If you don't need the 37, get a 35, save the money and when your k02's wear out, get some 37's then.

For me it wasn't worth the price difference. I rarely ever go off-road. I would have like to had the suspension and the seats, but again not worth the money for me. I have a friend that has the 802a version and driving them both on-road you can't tell any difference. The seats may feel a little firmer/more supportive. You will love it either way.

Polarizing question, most 802 owners firmly believe that it’s the only way to go. I’ve owned 802 and 801, 802 is more desirable for sure but doesn’t seem to hold value appreciably better when taking additional cost into account. I hated the Recaro seats so ended up with a 801 and had no regrets after swapping. I think the 801 wheels suck though.

I had a 2021 code orange… just traded it for a fully loaded Yukon Denali…. That was a big mistake. Of course two different vehicles however I would assume that Yukon would be better on the highway…I was wrong!!!

Agree … the 801 wheels suck. I found a dealer that will give me 4K below MSRP on a 802 package. I don’t off-road….. I don’t believe the sharks are going to make much of a difference for my daily driving… I did not mind the 801 seats…. 50,000 miles never complained once. However the Recaro seem nice…. Again subjective, of course. …

To me getting a 802A package was worth it. Had a 2020 Raptor and replaced it with a 2024 37 package. Some people don't like the Recaro seats, but I find them very comfortable. I can't stand the looks of the stock 801 wheels and yes, you can replace them, but I really like the look of the 802A wheels, better shocks, carbon fiber interior trim and I just think the truck looks better with 37s. In the big picture, both trucks are awesome, but I figured I was already spending a shit load of money so I might as well get what I want and not worry about if it was worth the extra money. Enjoy whichever truck you choose.

I wouldn't even consider a Raptor without the 37PP package, well and lifted... but then again in Colorado I have to deal with a lot of rocks on trails.

Getting 4k off sticker helps but…. On a 2024 that is not covering depreciation…. I think I can get 2K off the 801….
