Is 37 PP worth it?

I purposefully selected a 35 as well. Need to fit in tight parking garages for work. I could easily afford a 37, but seeing the accelerated depreciation and the extra kinda ridiculous upfront cost of it the 35 was an easy choice. The dramatic majority of Raptors out there are 35s, people chose that by and large for a reason and frankly an intelligent one.
Like i said.....unless logistics require otherwise.....its 37". Your garage issue an example. Rare, but am example none the less.

I drove several different used Raptors before I settled on my 802A. I love the Recaros over the 801 seats, and I prefer the 802A wheels. Otherwise, I couldn't really tell a difference between the two models. My heavy duty off roading days are probably behind me, so that wasn't a huge factor for me in making my decision. I just knew I wanted Code Orange in the 802A. Good luck with your purchase. Sounds like a great deal.

Seems most forget about the dual valve shock addition to the 24+ 802a. The additional control makes a difference if you actually take the truck off road.

I realize most here don’t…so it’s still irrelevant aside from a bragging point.

Can you noticed the dual valve on street driving?

I think most forget about it because you could take that 11K and put it towards FRS and 37s…sell the 35’s wheels/tires and come out easily ahead. It’s not because most here don’t off road…there are just better options. Many here like to mod trucks, and 11K either more than covers it or is a massive downpayment on whatever you want to do.

If you’re going to lose most of the cash on the 37 package at resale anyway might as well go custom. This is what people who buy 35 trucks are thinking.

Back to back test driving of the two you can when changing between sport and off road. Off road mode definitely changes rear end stability while on power over bumps.

You should try to arrange a test ride of both or see if any members on the forum live close to you to offer up a comparison.

Otherwise for the street you would never notice a difference if you never compared them back to back.

I don’t think many if any people who go buy a new raptor are ripping out the factory live valve setup in favor of an aftermarket replacement just because they are worried about resale value considering a modified truck is seen as a devaluation to the truck not a magical value added feature.

Ford spent time tuning the trucks calibration and shock profile for the 37’s and you get it all covered under a warranty. After that sure rip it all out and upgrade.

Replacing it all when it’s new? Pretty stupid. Hard to take the “value” stance on that one. Buy it used? Then like you said the resale is a wash and you can get a 37” truck for close to a 35”… so I say again why buy the 35” when the 37” is better.
