Thank you for taking the time to reply and for the compliments.

My situation requires me to mount these 37 KO2s, check alignment, check shocks for function and drive it until I can upgrade/rebuild the shocks.

Not sure of your situation, but if it's money I'd do the shocks first. The current tires look driveable.

Well that’s just it…the truck rides smooth. Saying the shocks are smoked based on mileage just doesn’t make sense to me. If you could explain how the truck would react with smoked shocks and then I could verify the symptoms (noise/sway/bounce/hop), then I would agree. But just saying replace/rebuild the shocks just because of mileage when the truck rides great….and then afterwards I see no difference in the ride…well to me that would be foolish. Looking for specific, mechanical advice/evidence not just a recommendation based on mileage.
By the way, 37s are on, new alignment and no rubbing/touching on stock suspension.
Again thank you for your input.
You aren't the first person to ask for input/advice and then ignore it. Come see us when your 37s have irregular wear. I hope we were all wrong! See ya in 5-10K miles!

As others have mentioned the shocks need a rebuild at the least. In the beginning Fox recomended rebuild at 100k miles for street use, this was revised a couple years later and changed it to 50k miles for street use. Either way the shocks are past due. Before you spend any more money get an alignment, that will eliminate or confirm the ball joints and bushings and go from there. Lower the tire pressure a tad and rotate tires more often would be my recomendation.

Thank you Pat. Just ordered a rebuilt set of shocks from Forged Off-road. I got it aligned when I put on the new tires. I’ll keep you posted. Great advice.
