Thanks, I love welding. I find it to be very easy to do but I know some people can grasp it quicker then others.
At my old job in Canada my boss told me to weld something with a mig, I picked up the welder and ran my beads and from then on he through me into fabrication. For never welding with a mig guess I did ok. haha
I believe this jack might be similar to yours.

Not sure who makes it but I've found it to be cheaper to just buy it.lol

C4 Fabworks does not advertise that skid mount for the OTC jack. I did just send an email asking how much one would run. When I get an answer I'll post it up.

I contacted them shortly after this original post. They were somewhat surprised I knew about their skid plate and quick release mount. I told them how I got the info. If I remember correctly, it was about $450 to have the plate made. They wanted me to ship them my jack to make sure it was custom fit. I thought it over, then decided to just make one myself. Mine is not welded - it is built from diamond plate and aluminum sheets I custom cut and bolted together.

It works well and looks OK, specially with it somewhat hidded in the cubby hole of my Outlaw Raptor chase rack. It ain't perfect for sure!

Sometimes it's hard to argue with "it works". I just got the Saints Offroad chase rack but sadly no truck to put it in just yet.

My friend has the Saints Offroad chase rack. They custom built a good looking skid plate and mount for a Harbor Freight jack (1.5 ton I think). It came with a quick release, but nowhere to mount it. It did have a hole on the skid plate, and another on the mount - these line up perfectly and he used a padlock here to secure the jack. I think they made a mistake of some kind, but he never followed up with them to get it fixed.

I've sent 2 emails to C4Fabworks and no response. I guess they are not in to making money. I would call but they don't have a number on their website.

I ordered the C4Fabworks mount, skid, extension combo the other day and got an online receipt from Pacific Water Jet Inc. I just did a quick search and came up with a phone number for them of (530)-892-8844. Hope this helps.

Thanks Fyer, but I don't think I want to do business with them if they are this difficult to contact them about products they sell/make.
