I currently use the scosche magic mount. I have both the pikate and scosche wireless charging but don’t like either mount with them. Trying to figure out best way to mount this thing. I ran my own usb outlet up to. Just have to figure out this mounting solution..... thinking this cd mount one...

Remove the pad in the bottom of that tray and the suction mount will lock onto the plastic underneath. That’s how I mount mine. Very strong.

So I think I’m leaning with this one. I don’t use car play hardly at all if so I’ll just plug in. Going to buy a longer usb and run and hide the cable. But overall so far happy with this Pitaka CD player mount. Puts phone right where I need it and I never use The CD player anyways.1831ffb7edb4ade47ea64b5e9a07e932.jpg

Anyone add a wireless charger pad in the storage compartment under the climate controls? Thinking of doing that to mine

Im not interested in drilling holes in my truck to mount my friggin phone or charger cord. Are there any phone mounts out there that will hold the phone in place that don't involve a huge ass strap going across the dash or drilling holes ?

Yeah. The rubber tray in front of the center channel speaker comes right out. A good suction cup mount will adhere to that flat plastic panel with no drilling or permanent mounting.

I use this one:
Mpow Car Phone Mount,Washable Strong Sticky Gel Pad with One-Touch Design Dashboard Car Phone Holder for iPhone X/8/8Plus/7/7Plus/6s/6Plus/5S, Galaxy S5/S6/S7/S8, Google Nexus, LG, Huawei and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XC5DRS4/?tag=fordraptorforum-20

Very strong.
