OK, 2nd update on the fuse box...The local Ford dealer states the part number they gave me is correct per the supersession info in the parts system. We sent photos showing the differences between the 2 and they are "looking into it" but after 2 days we have not heard back. Does anyone have a good parts guy at a Ford store who might go the extra mile to help me sort this out?

VIN: 1FTFW1RG0JFE52804
The Part number of the wrong fuse box: JL3Z-14A068-P
WERS # of original: JL3T-14D068-HD
WERS# of wrong box: JL3T-14D068-BG

@FordTechOne can you recommend a solid parts guy?

Ok, I hope this is the final update. The correct box arrived and I got it installed. It’s been in place 2 weeks with no issues but I have to pass 3 months to say for sure it’s fixed. After replacing the fuse box I pulled apart the old one and found a bunch of corrosion on the PCB. Multiple pins and 2 of the relays were nasty. Unfortunately the wiring diagram in AllData doesn’t call out which relay is the starter so I can’t say for sure if this is the smoking gun.

I’m happy to report this issue is resolved! I’ve gone 3 months with no issues after replacing the battery junction box. I did some homework and I realized I had the truck detailed a few weeks before this issue originally started. That detail included a full engine bay detail so I’m thinking the detailer with the high pressure gun managed to force the water in the box which allowed the corrosion. Either way, happy to have it fixed! Hope this whole thing helped someone.

thank a lot for your update, and there is no doubt this come from the engine bay cleaning which required lots of special attention !
