Some parts on the south coast barely get snow in the winter, I've lived up north before and the summers are hot and bright all day, just the bugs can be bad in July and Aug

I wouldn't expect to see snow at the road level anywhere we would go in July. Especially since this has been a terrible snow year for the third year in a row. I would expect to see plenty of mosquitos though.

Depending on the time I am looking forward to running around Alaska with a bunch of raptors. Traveling to the lower 49 end of may for my daughters wedding. other then that I will be up here all summer.
there is not much snow up here right now in south central Alaska. would not expect to see any snow down low after the 1st of june.
