I just picked up my 2018 Raptor last week and am really in love with this truck! I've been doing some research on intake's and I've narrowed it down to the AFE Magnum Force or the Roush. Anybody think I need to go 1 way or the other??

I'm coming from the BMW world and the AFE products have always been quality and proven, not to say Roush isn't...

Thanks ahead of time.

Not a lot of gain from aftermarket "CAI"s, though plenty longevity to lose on a forced induction vehicle that might see heavy off-road use. Turbo vanes tend to get dusted and "mushroom" when inadequately filtered air hits them, causing a whole litany of problems... Plenty of reading online in the diesel forums on the subject.

I think Whipple will tell you themselves that the induction is <15hp on its own

As others have stated no-tune required intakes on speed density setups (like the Ecoboost Raptor) really won't gain more than a few HP at best and anyone that tells you otherwise is full of it.

That being said both Roush and AFE make great products. Roush will be a little more OE in appearance and offers a larger single dry filter which will require less cleaning than the smaller AFE twin filters.
