"totaled" my '22 Raptor 37.
No frame damage, no structural damage. Truck needs a new front bumper, grill, hood, lights, side view mirros, front sensors, hood- and the ENTIRE vehicle needs to be repainted (over $20k from the dealer).

the insurance company is looking to total is because the total amount to repair everything is $42,000.
I really don't want to have this truck totaled out. I'de rather fix it. Insurance said they would get back to me in a couple of days to asses the "market value" of my vehicle (Scottsdale, AZ).

Can someone offer any help or advice on what i can do to keep the truck, and just have them fix it. OR - how can i get absolute top dollar for this thing- as its a loaded 37, and i have a feeling they're going to come back with some stupid offer on it and try to screw me. I really love my truck, and she's perfectly safe and sound to drive.

Thanks so much for any help fellas!

im being told that i need to wait for a "market assessment report" to determine the value of my truck. I have no idea how this works. I've never been in this situation- so I can't help but expect a low ball from them. what "rights" do i have in this regard ? For example- if i find ONE truck thats equipped EXACTLY the same as mine- but costs more than the examples they show me- what can i do ?

ideally- i would prefer to keep it. fix all the damaged bits/ sensors- and wrap the truck in shelter green and keep it forever.

Glad you're okay! Let's see some pics. What happened? Did any air bags deploy?

Do some of your own research and show them what it's worth! I did that when insurance totalled my son's car and got more money. But if you're looking to buy it back, you may not want to show higher prices. There are alot of variables to weigh, but if they pay you good money, move on and get a Shelter Green 24 without a history.

Don’t let them lowball you with a CCC valuation report. If they try, invoke your independent appraisal clause and work with Collision Safety Consultants. Check them out on Facebook.

I’m not affiliated with them. They’ve helped out a friend of mine
