Stage 2 is pretty straight forward and simple. I would not even classify it as a six pack project, maybe only 3 or 4 beer project. Just follow the directions and you won't have any problems.

Word of advice if you order your springs seperate from your Stage 2. When you go to Stage 3 (or replace your springs with another brand) you need a shorter pad on the end of your bump shock than you need when running a Stage 2. The springs will lower the rear of the truck an inch or so and that is what causes this. If you order as a Stage 3 they will come with the shorter pad.

If you do not change this out, you will be on your bump shocks with every little bump. I did not realize this and kept hitting my bump shocks on every little bump and pot hole for 6 months before I figured it out and switched out the pad on the end of the shock. Once I did that, life is great.

Thanks, If I go with springs they will be HDs so not sure I would have the same problem. I tow my racecar with the Raptor so im staying with stock springs at this point.

Few Tips

Just installed the stage 3...couple tips...have a dremmel type grinder handy, because the back holes on the frame supports sometimes don't line up, so need to grind down approx 1/8" on one side. Also, when reinstalling the stock exhaust mount, you will most likely need to redrill and tap the bottom hole.

You'll need a 1 5/16 socket to torque down the air bumps......had to run out and buy this one while doing the job.....

Have Fun!
