Wow... Blast from the past. This thread was started in the VERY early days of FRF.

Mine has been on for over 2 years now. Once I got it torqued properly (beyond spec) it's operated perfectly. No complaints whatsoever with this product.

For my Raptor being a desert-dweller, this mod is probably overkill, but it's nice to know its back there just in case. It's a peace-of-mind mod, kind of like a roll cage (to a much smaller degree), something that you're glad you installed but you hope you'll never actually use.

Yeah i finally ordered up a candy blue full, with white lettering for my truck since it has been seeing some mud/rocks/water/wheeling.

BTW what did you torque it down to?
