Where did you get the whelens and what did you get them for if you don't mind. I am in the market for some to fit on the outside of my plate

Killer set up.
I helped Orangeaddict install his WSI winch mount and WSI Whelen light mount this weekend. I was quite impressed with the ease of the light mount and how good it looked.

Yeah that front mount is well made. Only issue I'm having is that no matter how I try to adjust, the whelens angle slightly up. Did you have to bend the lower lip of the bumper opening a little to get the lights to point flat?

Did you remove the lower grill tabs?
Also, since the mount is using the large holes in the bumper to mount to try loosening them and siding the mount down a bit.

Honestly didn't even look to see if the lower tabs could be removed. Popped out the grille insert and thought it was good. Will have to pull out the lights and check it out. Thanks!

any issues with vibrating/shaking of the lights? i was always curious how each mounting method holds up...

You'll need to either bend or cut the lower grill tabs as they interfere with the fit of the lights. I'll probably end up with a similar setup. Recently had more Micro and Nano Pioneers installed. Just need to add a 40 or some Whelen Dual Slimlines behind the grill.
