I have a 2017 Raptor I just put this on. Easy to install. However, shortly after a test drive, system threw a 'wrench' indicator warning saying Powertrain Malfunction / Reduced Power along with CEL. Anyone see this? Per previous posts could it be due to wire splicing / needing a tune? My kit didn't need any wire splicing per the youtube video as it came with a plug-in resister.

You should pull the code and see if it has anything to do with BOV

and BTW TM just released a new BOV that is plug and play.

Man I really want that BOV sound but after seeing all of these issues I think I’m going to wait until something better comes out or TS fixes their setup...

Issues seem more like user error than anything else. I have the Turbosmart EM BOV and a CFV Intercooler, not a single issue with either install or anything and the BOV sounds fantastic.

What Issues? There is absolutely nothing wrong with the TS BOV, nothing for them to fix.. I installed it on my SVC IC some time ago and it has worked flawlessly.

So no issues with the “ticking” that folks have mentioned? Do most people swap out the OEM IC before installing it?

I fitted the New TS EM BOV (This is the electro-mechanical unit that is a direct replacement for the OEM unit and is plug and play). I just realized this thread started a long time ago and was originally referencing the old Mechanical Vacuum operated BOV. (Not sure why anyone would want to fit that now that there is an EM unit available, if that's what you are wanting to do). If you get the new unit it just works. HTH
