Ok. I have not seen any silver screw or scab trucks with a good detail and shine.is it because they look great all the time or is the ingot that hard to get shiny? Any pics out there?

I feel Like mine shines up nicely and this is a week into a wash. Silver just looks good all the time, and hides scratches well

It does hide them. I drove thru some after shower rain puddles only to find out later that a construction crew had broke a bag of kwikcrete that mixed in the puddle,,nice cement dots all over the side of the truck

Silver does tend to look good the majority of the time even when dirty, but its not that hard to get good shine out of it. Learning how to polish paint and doing it right will yield most of the shine but even a good LSP (last step product) can alter the appearance to some degree, even on neglected paint or perfect paint. But in general, it is a bit tougher to get good reflections from silver than darker colors. That's just the nature of lighter colors.

It's not a Raptor, but same paint.

CarPro Hydro2 Touchless Silica Sealant.

After topping it with Wolfgang Deep Gloss Liquid Seal.

Even with a light coat of dust you can see down the drivers door the shine that comes through on Silver. It does hide scratches well too!

Silver naturally will not get that deep shine you see on many other(darker) colors.

Here is mine a couple days after my basic wash and wax
