Info For Californians Who Buy Out of State...

Dealers in Cali want way to much. I’ll probably do the same and look at out of state

Buying out of California - no taxes/fees...you of course get to the DMV and there you pay all the normal taxes/fees.
The DMV used the Tare Weight on the paperwork from Team, and I did have to get a California Smog Check...and someone will check all the stickers under the hood and the VIN number...went pretty smooth...

Many Ford dealers will not sell to CA residents. One example is Lasco Ford in Michigan. They have a base model black SCAB at $2500 under msrp that I am interested in but they said no. Claimed it was due to CA emissions.

Yep, many dealers won't sell to people in CA - they are stupid. Every Raptor has 50 state emissions. I still don't understand why ford makes it an option, when the option is just a piece of paper.

This is 100% false. Every raptor has 50 state emissions.

Just back from Team Ford in Vegas with my new Raptor. Great service at Team. They sell 95% of their Raptors to CA residents.
