The **** is also overpriced and extremely outdated; they're still using their old 5 speed auto and that boat anchor 4.0 that gets the same fuel economy as our 6,000lb 450HP Raptors. It's also ugly. He'd be better off with a Wrangler or Grand Cherokee; you can get the EcoDiesel in the Wrangler, and a GC Trailhawk w/ the Hemi and ZF 8 speed is less than the starting price of a **** pro, yet it's actually from this century.

I loved my 4runner and a nice 4runner with all the goodies will still turn my head but yes the engine and trans in that is a dinosaur.

You are correct on all accounts. However that does not change the fact that it is a capable rig.
