I had a similar issue when I tried to change plugs on the other side of the engine. **** got brittle.

I will now WD40 those types of connectors and etc prior to having to pull on them.

How much did your coils run you? Was going to order them through a dealer near me but they wanted $200 EACH.
Check out rockauto, they even just posted on here yesterday with a discount code, I just posted the part numbers and prices on "what did you do to your raptor today", but here it is:

And these are the OEM ones, they have cheaper ones, but screw that, I got oem.

I guess I will pray mine don’t spin when I take them off, will do that in the morning.
I have a feeling it happened because there was still some heat in the head and the plastic was warm enough that it allowed the nut to spin. If it is cool, I would assume it has a better chance.

Well the good news is, I got all 8 coils disconnected and unbolted, just the 2nd bolt from the drivers front was rusted in place a bit, so will be putting a little dab of never seize on these before I put them back on. Now I can finish detailing the engine and get started on changing the plugs.
