My mechanic basically cut them, welded an oversized sleeve on the bottom whose ID was the mate of the OD of the rod, inserted the male to the female and drilled a hole for a pin.

You just pull the pin on both sides, rotate the sway bar all of the way up out of the way, zip tie the lower rod to the control arm and the sway bar to the frame.

Gonna work on something better for keeping the sway bar up like maybe a carabeener for it to latch to.
