If someone already owns a Gen2, why the hell would they trade it for what's basically a refreshed gen 2, with the same engine??
In my opinion the Gen3 will be out whenever ford actually unveils the Raptor R. Then I would understand the trade. Just my opinion.
My 2020 is paid for and only has 7K on it, It's all Ill ever need.
With the trade and my payment only going up $8. I have 9500 miles on the 2020 and my plan was to keep the truck for like 12-15 years like my last one. I figure it's a once and a lifetime chance to get 10K over what I paid for it. So mostly financial and a little other stuff. Now I can get the same setup for a lower payment too, but the 37 package looks nice.

EDIT........lol.. Dealer just got back to me. Said the owner spoke with other owners and they are putting a $10,000 above MSRP on all raptors.. Have a nice day!
$91,000 for a 37 Raptor, no motor upgrade.. There out of there mind...

I agreed with you, it's just something about the Gen 3 that stands out above the Gen 2. I initially thought that ford took a step back design wise but it's completely grew on me and I think it will be a classic good look to add to the great tech.

If you have a Gen 2, I don't see a need to get a Gen 3...but, Ive never owned a raptor so I'm biased based on this first purchase. I still love the look of my 2016 but, it's time for me to move on.
You’ve NEVER owned a Raptor? What do you drive a f$&@“@&$ Prius?!? Why are you on this forum?

You will get 50/50 split on this. It's reminiscent of when Ford went from the rounded look of the 97-03 F150's to the 04-up squared off trucks. Some loved it and some thought it was a step backwards. Either way Ford continues to sell a shit ton of F150's. Can't please everyone.

People are paying actual real life money for Gen 3's with the way they look?? Have people not seen the way they look? No thank you, plus the only two color options for the interior are green on the 35 package and blue on the 37! Its horrible! I want to know what drugs the interior designers were on when they picked those as the only two color options for the interior lol.
