Running Mobil 1 full synthetic . Changed at 2 k and just now at 5k. Yes it’s overkill but I sleep better.
So I took it in to the dealership I bought it at in September, verified cam phasers, said I had two options. One was to replace them with the current model phasers , or I could wait because ford was coming out with a new design. Also said that it would not hurt anything.
Next was the local dealership, and they said they verified the same story. I personally really like their service department. Just waiting on ford for the release.

There is no "new design" coming. The new parts have been out for service since last year.

All trucks built after 07/2018 should have received the new part numbers; sounds like you just got a faulty one.

I started my truck this AM and it sounded like there were loose marbles in the motor... Taking it in this week. I have a 2019, has anyone seen this in the 2019 models?

Have you verified that your oil level is correct? I wouldn't jump to any conclusions until you verify the basics.

I have not checked it in a few miles, I checked it before I left California about 2500 miles ago and it was fine...

I have a 2019 with a June 19 build and have the phaser rattle. I'm planning on getting it fixed after summer boat towing season is over.

yes but did they fix the issue? ive seen many trucks after this build date with the exact same issues as well as a couple 2020s posted on facebook with the issue....just because they stamp a new part number on something doesn't mean it fixed the problem
