Currently, they're playing ball. Which is nice.
Sounds like they’re going to owe you an engine. With oil loss that substantial and the low oil pressure warning coming on it’s next to impossible that there is not internal engine damage.

I have said many times for many years. The most dangerous thing I do is an oil change. Make $10 profit on the chance we don't damage a $20,000 engine.

Personally I wouldn't mind if everyone changed their own oil and took that liability on themselves.

To the OP, you need to fight. Chances are they will try and do used engine with similar miles.

Having been an "expert" witness in a couple of these cases that have went to court, a used engine would make you "whole" and a new engine would be more than "whole" (yes when a judge said that I was like WTF)

2 years ago we had a customer bring a F150 in that had low oil pressure after getting an oil change done at Grease Monkey, in Clinton Utah (**** them). I have an email from the store manager saying fix it, take care of the customer we will pay for repairs.

When the bill was $19,000 he shit, sent it to corporate who told me to pound sand. We went to court and won $15,000, attorney cost me $7000. In the end I lost, but learned a valuable lesson.

God bless you on what you are facing with getting that all resolved... I just had to do an engine swap and was several months long in the whole process--- really stinks not having the truck- pray it works out as you need it to... they would not replace my turbos in all of my engine change fiasco but I'm about 6k or so into my new engine and setup and everything is holding together well so far ! Best of luck to you though!

Yeah, this will most definitely have engine damage with that amount of loss. It sucks, and I'm not ******** on you or anything but this is why its only DIY or Ford for lube service since these trucks are so expensive. I hope they cover it for you, but if not you have to go the lawyer route which will cost you.

THis mistake is way too common and it grinds my gears that they let people work on these vehicles with such little training. (speaking from experience with stripped out skid plate bolts) I feel like my landscaper is more well rounded in oil change procedures.
