I bought a Roush model because IMHO it looks much cleaner and better than stock, included the upgrades I would have likely done anyway, and the cost wasn’t much different when factoring in time, labor, and the discount I got buying out of state.

Go for it!

I would pass you can build better for less with the discounts on 18’s.

Your paying for a lot of stickers, the shocks can be had for $5k and wheels $3k with better tires.

I have a 2017 that is MPT tuned. I considered the Roush raptor as well as just the Roush "tune" that they put out in their 2017 in a performance pack. The problem with their tune was that the gains were very poor as compared to the MPT tune. The other question that I asked myself is why don't they even put their tune on the Roush raptor???? I decided to pass. The Shelby raptor was more tempting because in comes with the Whipple performance pack but MPT is still better and you really pay for the name to play with Shelby. If I had a mustang I might be tempted to bring it to Roush as opposed to buying a Shelby. I do like the Roush Super duty F250 if I wanted to go that route.

You are correct. I really hadn't looked that hard until just a little while ago.
Thx

If you are not living paycheck to paycheck, have a good grasp on your finances, a good chunk of change sitting in your 401k...why not do it? Why are you faltering?

Hell, go for the baja raptor!

And that super duty roush is bad ass! If those super duty's weren't such a tank driving around town, that is the route I'd go.

I was thinking the same thing and considered buying a Roush, but for less than the $13,000 Roush Pkg(the only thing worth anything to me out of it was the Fox Factory susp.),
I tailored a 2018 to my taste and spec's, and got much more than what you get out of a Roush package. The Fox Factory shocks were the only thing I did not get.

Changed my opinion; don't do the Roush. But it's always more fund spending someone else's money!

I Agree with WillieFlo. And anxious to see your rig when done Willieflo; the vorstein wheels are sharp!
