Had the local shop put a Magnaflow on mine today. I like it. Wifes Avalanche has one as well. They are not much louder....if any....when driving at cruise speed, but when you step on it, it talks to you.
Not sure what the part number is, but it has 14" in the body. Just a little louder under cruise speed, but way louder under acceleration. Exactly what I was looking for,
Just changed the muffler, all else is original.

Are these an easy unbolt, bolt-on install or do they require cutting and welding?

You will have to atleast cut. Then you can either bolt the new muffler in or weld it. Having someone do it should be really cheap though
