I’m lost are we talking about sleeping with someone’s wife still or the truck ? I’ll second the get a gen1 less stuff to fix is always the trail to chose . When the government got involved with light truck design mandating higher mileage Ford bent over and said sure we can make a lot more on parts and repairs. Hence gen 2 was born .

2019 Ford Raptor.. roughly 70k miles.

I’m here to vent. I know it’s been discussed 10,000 times already. But, I have to get another set of cam phasers? At the same time my moon roof breaks again?

All in the course of under a year.

I don’t know whose wife at Ford I slept with, but I do apologize.
I was told by a friend at ford that just because you have a sun roof doesn’t mean you should open it .

The trick IMO to the sun roof is like 4 wheel drive. If you don't use it you lose it. I pop mine open once every couple weeks just to keep things moving. Its when its been baking in the sun for 3 years and then you try to open it that all hell breaks loose. This is my superstitious opinion on it, probably false, but its what I've done on all my sunroof cars and never remotely had a failure. As for cam phasers...trade it in on a late build 2020 or a gen 3.

Vent it upwards in back before you ever try to slide it back.
