No - It just means your order is in the bank but the dealer still has to divvy up allocations once they find out exactly how many they're getting.

It's gonna be a real sad day when these orders arrive to the dealership and suddenly there is a $20-50k markup added last minute to take delivery.

We all read how many people this happened to on this forum.

Agree. all these orders, including mine are just a customer wish list. Dealers will decide who gets the R and how much they will pay. Most likely the first ones will go to friends and or Major customers. Until you exchange money and have a signed contract with a price and VIN all these emails and price sheets I see mean shit. You need the VIN for it to be considered a contract.

Thats part of the reason ford changed how allocations work, the dealerships that did that and sold elsewhere lost allocations

The email from Ford means nothing. I got one. Two days later the dealer got notified that they weren’t going to get it and canceled the order. It was priority code 19. I had the Ford email and the order confirmation. Meaningless. A buddy at another dealership told me they weren’t getting any and that most dealers would not get them. He said Presidents Award dealers had the best chance.
