I looked at the raptor we just delivered and it had the same sticker under the hood.

I'm not fully tracking, soakinred is the order we just placed going to be good?

The CA DMV only requires the CA Emissions sticker under the hood, so i should be fine. All of them come with the same CA emissions sticker.
So I'm not sure what Taco is talking about.

I am just going by what I have been told. At this point it has been several different things. More phone calls will be made tomorrow.

Can you check the Certificate Of Origin on any of the Raptor's or F150's you have to see if it says "certified for sale in California" it should be right in the center.

Thanks

Its not likely it will have that in the Certificate of orgin being a 49 state. But the under the hood sticker should fix the issue. Extra paperwork may need to be filed to correct that. I also sent you a pm with more info.

So it looks like all the 2017 F150's including Raptors have the CA Emissions sticker, so we are good to go buying from any state! Sweet

Now I just wait and congrats Taco I'm glad it is all working out!

I live in CA but ordered my truck through a dealer in TX. The dealer asked me to confirm that the vehicle was going to be registered in CA, and stated that they (the dealership) are subject to a $10k fine for ordering a vehicle with CA emissions that does not end up getting registered in CA. I can't understand why a dealer would get fined for this, given that CA emissions are more strict. Since the vehicle is going to be registered in CA it's a non-issue, but I'm curious if anyone has any idea why a dealer would be fined in this situation?

I verified on my 14 that my sticker actually says certified for California before the ULEV statement. Wonder if that is the only difference in that its running ECU programming that they used to get the Cali Certification. I purchased and registered mine in MD so it had to be California Certified.
