GEN 2 I’m stuck...can’t get rid of Towing screen...need help.

A few weeks ago, the wife bought a little travel trailer. Went to back it up and thought “hey, this thing has the fancy shmanzy back up gizmo... I ought to use it”. Well, I was already hooked up and only had to back it into a pretty easy spot so 1/2 way through set-up, I bailed and just backed the trailer in. Unhooked everything and have been driving the rig for the past couple weeks with the stupid set-up screen for the trailer on my console....I can’t get rid of it. Tried everything except reading the manual cuz, well, I’m a guy and its easier to ask all you smart folks. Anyone have a quick fix?

Unhook the battery

Don’t disconnect your battery as mentioned above. Go to your trailer settings and deactivate the trailer.

Thanks; looks like I have to finish the trailer setting process then go in and deactivate since the screen I have that is not a choice. Appreciate the help.

I had the same issue. I just hooked back up the trailer and let the truck identify it. Then unhooked again.
